Lead User Experience Designer (3 months)

Engaged to produce and deliver UX strategy for early-stage start-up, building a household insurance mobile application. Collaborated with business directors to understand the product, audience and requirements for the app.

Led UX and produced wireframes/prototypes for sign-up, onboarding and product search. Delivered persona workshops, advocating for users by building stakeholder empathy for customers and encouraging the business to effectively address their needs. Introduced, implemented and executed remote user research.

Succeeded in launching the first iteration of the app enabling Covvered to raise additional investment to fund ongoing research and development.

User Experience Designer (16 months)

Engaged to assist the start-up to find a product market fit for the self-management mapping product. Partnered with the CTO to wireframe, prototype, implement and iterate the onboarding process.

Used Google Analytics and Lookback to analyse behaviour. Contributed to ongoing customer development strategy through regular customer interviews to define customer needs. Redesigned the forms to add data to the product. Produced detailed customer journey maps/prototypes

Supported the business throughout the project to successfully meet the predefined objective of securing 20 paying customers.
